Foreclosure home with lots of filth and garbage.  Cleaning was not a priority.

One of the most disgusting bathrooms we’ve seen in a long time.  Unbelievable.  [Click on photo for full size.]  Does it make you feel pity or contempt?

Having seen the recent episodes on A&E Hoarders (cue in horror music), nothing grosses me out anymore.

Maria, I agree. Monday’s episode had a bathroom that was vomit inducing.

It is astonishing that a house can be listed for sale in this condition, foreclosure or not… why will the bank not clean it up ?! It can’t be that expensive just to get rid of the trash and would certainly speed the sale of this house. Most potential buyers would look at one photo and cross it off their list !

This looks deliberate. The walls aren’t filthy or messed up. Just dump it, make a mess and walk out the door.

Most definitely I feel pity. This has gone waa-a-aay beyond having chosen to simply ignore messes: it’s just a symptom of what must be indescribable depression.

CONTEMPT, no question. No possible excuse exists to have your house look like this (OR to mess up the house before leaving, if you haven’t been already living it). Even an elderly person can throw trash in a trash can, not the bathtub, and if it’s “people” who trash the house before they leave, then they’re low class trash themselves. Also, we’ve all been “depressed” once or twice. Not a reason to let your house look like this. Depression has nothing to do with it. Laziness does.

And don’t view this house within a couple hours after eating, either.

What the hell is in the bathtub?

Contempt. Why was it even photographed?

WTF, that is quite the mess, I just threw up in my mouth a little on that one.

It looks like they were throwing their dirty dishes and trash in the tub. I can’t even imagine what it smelled like in there. ewwww!
