Stacks of blocks! Like a ton of bricks, there are so many.

There are even more stacks to the left of this group!

And stacks of red roof tiles. Ironically, the house needs a new roof!! What??!!?!

Top 3 Best Back Yards In Camden, New Jersey

November 26th, 2017 · No Comments

#1 – You are sure to enjoy this refuge from the hustle and bustle of the big city. This is Camden living.

It’s a great place to hang out with friends and family. Parking is close by too!

#2 – An oasis in the middle of Camden. Close your eyes and imagine hearing the gentle breeze through the palm trees, while you rest in the shade and enjoy eating dates and grapes.

#3 – Ah, the sound of a babbling fountain. From the search lights flooding the yard with light to the corrugated metal siding to the brick pavers, this yard has it all.

Ugly Cabinets

November 24th, 2017 · 7 Comments

Time is on our side. We’re seeing fewer and fewer of these original 1970s super-ugly John F. Long builder cabinets.

No matter how much you add color or accessories, the cabinets are still ugly.

It’s so much fun to stare at a wall when doing dishes.

Drab colors only cover up the decades of dust and grime.

A very very slight improvement.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

November 23rd, 2017 · 3 Comments

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Let’s take a look at some vintage ovens. Think of the many Thanksgiving dinners cooked in them.

1930 Glendale, Arizona range/oven. Looks brand new.

1957 Phoenix oven. Pretty in pink.

1959 Phoenix oven. Same style as in my childhood home.

1969 avocado green oven in Mesa, Arizona.

1973 harvest gold oven in a Phoenix home.

Uncommon Baby Names

November 22nd, 2017 · 3 Comments

My first name is far and few in between. Here are four more uncommon baby names seen around the Phoenix metro area. Starting with baby Mega.

Here we have baby Eriko. With those stupid camouflaged letters that babies and adults cannot read.

Next we have baby Stryder with those impossible-to-read patterned letters. Please make that trend stop.

And then there’s baby Scotlin.

Carpet Baggers

November 21st, 2017 · 2 Comments

Time to bag this carpet and get new.

Note to sellers: when the carpet is torn, that is your last call to replace the carpet.

If you are going to keep the ugly carpet, at least stretch it and cut the ends.

At least these sellers were considerate enough to keep their infant away from the filthy carpet.

First thing you see when entering this Houston, Texas home is stained, dirty carpet. [Note: this photo has been kept on file since March 2017; it is not post-hurricane]
