The only thing better than having you for a mom is my children having you for a grandma.

Thank you, Michael, for sending us these photos of a remodeled San Diego, California house. The house is beautiful, but the gnarly, old tree out front is creepy and ugly.
The tree has been trimmed up too high, so now it’s all gangly branches and no leaves. It distracts from the house.
You can see the ugly branches from the living room window.
Beautiful new kitchen. Looks clean, fresh, and bright. White cabinets, especially Shaker style as seen here, with engineered quartz counters are very popular right now in kitchen redesign. Note how the glass backsplash is only one color.
Could be featured in a magazine.
Clean and fresh looking bathroom too. Thank you, Michael, for the photos.

That amethyst on the bathroom counter looks like sushi.
Pass the soy sauce please.

We’ve got a real treat for you today. It’s not often we see vintage photos of homes along with the current photos, especially with construction workers. The sellers of this 1941 Gilbert, Arizona home were kind enough to include construction photos. They bought it in 1965 and recently sold it 48 years later.
Their house is on the left, as seen in February 1966.

It’s no wonder the house had multiple offers. It isn’t a fancy house and certainly not modern, but when you see the attention paid to construction and knowing it was owned for 48 years, it becomes more valuable.

Today is Veterans Day. Please thank a Veteran for serving his/her country.
These three sellers lost a loved one who served. They all get a pass from our snarky comments. Bless you.

The living room sure looks like a waiting room. But what business are they running that would have 4 clients waiting at one time?
