Hardware stores and crafts stores sell paint rollers with patterns carved into the sponges. Here they did a base coat of brown and then rolled it over with butterscotch.

You can buy linoleum flooring that has a cobblestone pattern. This floor doesn’t seem to have a repeating pattern. I think it might be pieces of saltillo clay tile that were painstakingly placed there. That’s a lot of time & energy and grout.
The house has saltillo tile throughout. Along with a few friends. Here’s Mr. Turtle.
