The walls have potential.
Potentially a nice home office?
More wall patching. At least they didn’t knot the curtains.
The covered patio provides a lot of shade.
The front porch roof is curved to help rainwater flow better.

Imagine visiting this Lyman, South Carolina home and seeing a snake on the bed!! Would you pee your pants? Before you realized it was a fake snake? We hope it’s fake. On the other hand, why would the seller put a fake snake on the bed? To scare away what?

Thank you to our reader Cheryl for sending us these groovy photos of a 1971 home in South Lyon, Michigan.
They replaced the avocado green refrigerator. Bummer.
Wallpaper was very popular in the 1970s.
Just wait ’til these colors come back in fashion.

Knotted curtains continue to show up in Phoenix area homes.
When will people stop knotting their curtains?
Can we set up counseling for people compelled to knot their drapes?
Enact legislation to outlaw knotted curtains?
Boycott homes with knotted curtains?
I’d rather see pouf valances return than see knotted curtains.
At least these drapes weren’t knotted. Only tied with string and twisted.

Knotted curtains are still around, unfortunately.
The knots wrinkle the fabric permanently.
It’s not attractive.
If the fabric is too long, cut it.
This is what happens to your drapes after knotting them too much and too long!
This horrible trend has spread to Milwaukee, Illinois.
