Cool fence or ugly fence? It’s certainly different.

The front porch needs help.

The bathroom needs help too.

When a home listing says it’s an 80% remodel fixer-upper, you get curious. I visited it on Friday. I expected worse, but it still needs a lot of work. The previous owner started renovations and gave up. It went into foreclosure. Now listed at $165,000.

The kitchen today. This home will have to be cash only. No kitchen = no financing.

The kitchen as it looked in 2004 with Euro style cabinets and saltillo tile. The house sold for $270,000 back then.

Beehive fireplace today.

Master bathroom’s sunken tub (aka Roman tub). Very popular in certain areas of Phoenix in the early 1970s. This home was built in 1972. There’s a dead lizard and other bugs in the tub.

The swimming pool today is empty. Back in April, the county vector control department treated the green water pool with mosquito larvicide (preventative measure against West Nile virus).

Not to keep banging the hammer on the nail, but are you selling your holiday decorations or your house? Priorities, people. Time to put the clutter and decorations away when selling. It’s that simple.

The homeowner built this monstrosity on the front porch!

This Phoenix home sold in June, but has Christmas decorations! Yes, June. I guess the buyers overlooked the empty water jugs, the BBQ grill out front, the patched up walkway, and the makeshift planter with six flowers.

Buckeye, Arizona. Home to front porch mannequins. And antique ice tongs. Unbelievable!

Here’s the living room with giant saw, cow skull, and lots of other junk.

You’re sure to be overwhelmed by your view of the mountains in this Phoenix condo. The photo description reads “mountain views from master bedroom.” If you go up to the 2nd floor and stand on tippytoe and look to the right.

Here’s the condo’s kitchen with original stove. The seller watched some of those design for pennies TV shows and replaced the cabinet door centers with wire mesh.

Here’s the entrance to the condo, complete with green carpet and macrame plant hanger.

How cute this Phoenix house must have been decades ago. It has been neglected for so long, it looks like it is going to fall down.
