Either that’s a new type of potpourri or the seller’s cats are jumping up and eating from the bathroom counter. Yuk.

Thank you to our reader Ryan who sent these photos of a Lower Canard, Nova Scotia, Canada home. Lots to see here.
Kitchen with fly strip. Plus the owner and a dog.
The dog is still there. Now we see a cracked ceiling and a collection of plates.
Canadians put stuff on their refrigerators too. Look how high the clothes dryer is. Another dog is leaving the room.
Clutter on the left. Scary stairs in the middle. Animal fur on the right.
Same bedroom, different view.
Sweatshop? There’s a bug zapper too.
The seller feels an offer is looming.

There are currently only 277 active short sale listings in the Phoenix metro area. Thank goodness. Here’s an example.
Take her. The dog is begging, “Forget her. Take me!”
Let’s back out of this cluttered bedroom.
Into another cluttered bedroom.
And another one.
The drawer front is missing.
The kid is not peeing. He’s looking at something. What is it?
It’s baby chickens!! With a short sale, you never want to count your chickens before they’re hatched. The bank has to approve the offer.
Over in the family room, it looks like the sellers have security cameras set up. In case someone dares to steal their stuff.
We pan to the right.
Deep fryer in the kitchen.
Dinner is served. Somewhere.
They included a photo at a higher viewpoint.
Personal belongings and toys take priority over the fireplace.
The covered patio is a great place to entertain guests.
This yard might have a swimming pool.
Well, at least it hasn’t turned green yet.

Here’s a Phoenix home with free-range chickens.
The Pelican Brief?
Deer in a Scottsdale home’s back yard. Since the deer isn’t facing the camera, is it being coy or being decoy?

Will buyers jump up and down when they see this beautiful back yard? Or will they shed a tear? The sellers are tired of us grilling them about cleaning up their yard.
Oh, look. There’s a lounge area for you to rest between weightlifting sets.
The dog is super excited about the fire pit.

The cat is looking back in disgust at the cluttered mess.
Will the dog attack or not? That could scare buyers away.
Do you see the cat? [Thank you to our reader who sent this from Woodridge, Illinois]

Today is Friday the 13th. Be careful. Don’t let a black cat cross your path! Watch out for dangerous rakes too.

A creative person added lots of flair to her/his kitchen.
A lot of time and attention was invested here.
Each tile and tile shard was placed with care.
Who doesn’t like flowers?
A one-of-a-kind kitchen.
Different things going on in the living room.
The dog is mad because the birds get to have all the toilet paper.
The house also includes a guest house. And more clutter.
The guest house kitchen features a built-in microwave.
The guest house bedroom has custom window blinds and an extra closet.
The seller will replace the ceiling fan with a full price offer.
Lots of storage in the guest house.
Cleaning products are for display only.
Vintage furnace. From 1960?

Dogs in a basket. And that faux distressed brick look.
Another puppy. Pee on the floor? Damaged ceiling. And more. Are you feeling distressed by this?

This photo is brought to us today from our reader Tyson. It’s from a Craigslist used car ad in Las Vegas, Nevada. He noticed the unwashed dusty car, the dent by the right front tire, the person in the photo, the dog, and the poor photography (shooting into the sun), many of the do-not’s of this blog. Would this photo prompt people to call about the car?
