Young men, watch out. There’s a cougar on the prowl.

The black panther has round buttocks. Interesting.

Tigers in the jungle?

Y Ask Y

August 9th, 2017 · 2 Comments

Most buyers would love a soaking tub. How about this one? It’s from a Goodyear, Arizona home being sold as a short sale.

Not sure why someone would need four pair of scissors at the ready.

The kid did pick up his room. Now to shampoo the carpet.

Cluttered garage. [The photo was blurry]

Above the covered patio is a sundeck! See the table up there?

Storage shed included.

Concrete blocks and scrap wood included too.

Two TV sets and a vacuum cleaner also included.

The owners were too tired to clean up the back yard.

This house could be yours, in six months when the bank approves the short sale.

Shadow Photography

August 8th, 2017 · No Comments

Another example of how not to take a real estate photo: long shadows.

Here’s a tip: Take real estate pictures at different times of day and from different angles to avoid shadows.

So the same photographer tried a different angle and then included a shadow of his/her car. Ugh.

This photographer wanted extra lighting to shoot a guest house. Too bad he/she didn’t step inside and to the right.

Oh, come on. The moral is: hire a professional photographer when selling your home. Or at least put your foot down and demand a replacement photo.

No Bare Walls

August 4th, 2017 · 2 Comments

People complained about boring white walls. Then they complained about bland tan walls. So here are some new options.

Exposed brick!

Polka dots!

Fake mold and mildew!

Brown smears in a bathroom is not a good look.

Alien Nursery?

July 28th, 2017 · 4 Comments

As seen in a house for sale in Florence, Arizona. I’m stumped. Any idea what’s going on here? Bed support? Car repair blocks? Alien baby pods? Koi pond? Modern art installation?

Holding Down the Fort

This home in Douglas, Arizona has a basement. The owners covered the stairs with metal and used concrete blocks to hold down the metal cover.

So clever.

Up With People

July 24th, 2017 · No Comments

They’re waiting for the buyers to show up.

“I finished mopping. Now I’m going inside.”

The seller got out of the room as requested, but the photographer forgot to crop the photo.

“Our agent suggested buying pretty flowers.”

“I wonder if it’s time to replace the 1950s wall heater. Should I paint over the ceiling stain?”

“I love the shade tarp over the pool.”
