Big mural at the staircase landing in a Saco, Maine home. Does it reenact or predict a time when the Skelton Dam broke/breaks?

Mural in another Saco, Maine home. It distracts you from the ugly couch and crazy flooring.

Another mural in the same house. Lots of time on your hands during the cold, dark winters?

Please help these three family rooms in their hour of need. It’s a staging crisis. They want to sell their homes but don’t know what to do.
They’ve got the world at their fingertips, literally, in Carbondale, Illinois.

The television is like how buyers feel about this messy room: turned off. Elkhart, Indiana.

The floor is neat and tidy, but there is a lot of stuff on every shelf. Wickenburg, Arizona.

Every year, the same questions: When should I put up my Christmas decorations and when should I take them down?
These Phoenix sellers kept their Christmas decorations up all during the year, up until it sold on Halloween.

These Mesa, Arizona sellers untrimmed the tree on December 31st, 2010 when they listed the house. They kept the tree inside until the house sold eleven months later in November.

This Tempe home was listed in January 2011; they left up the tree until it sold in November (well, at least the photo remained unchanged for ten months).

Santa left his hat behind when this Mesa, Arizona home was listed in May.

These Jefferson City, Missouri folk put their Christmas decorations up in November, before Thanksgiving.

What have we learned? Please don’t include holiday decorations in your real estate photos. If you absolutely must decorate the house when selling, please replace the holiday photos when the house is back to normal.

How about these five fashion-forward couches/sofas?
The Pride of Phoenix.

Gaudy in Glendale, Arizona.

Mystical in Mesa, Arizona.

Springlike in Sun City West, Arizona.

Wearisome in Watertown, New York.

Holy cow. Those carved horse dining chairs are ugly. From a house in Youngtown, Arizona.

The eyes are creepy.

They painted over their kitchen cabinet doors. Thoughts?

They removed the original window in the bathroom and used glass block. But instead of using half blocks, they used cinder block to fill in the gaps. (eyes rolling)
