Believe it or not, the holiday season will be here soon enough. Buyers will be thinking about hosting parties & dinners in their new homes. They will have a hard time imagining a holiday dinner if a dining room doesn’t look like a dining room. There should be a dining table here, not a foos table or pool table.

Here is a beautiful dining room of a Peoria, Arizona home that I sold quickly. Buyers can see there’s plenty of room for large groups. It looks clean and inviting.

This Peoria, Arizona home is 15 years old. The original pink carpet took a beating and then some, dontcha think? The brown-green wall paint clashes with the pink. You should see it full scale; my clients gasped and I grabbed my camera.

I snapped these photos while showing a Peoria, Arizona home to clients.
Some kid scribbled on the wall of his room. If this is a self-portrait, is he bald at age 16? The sayings read “Don’t hesitate - just do it - and turn off the T.V. too” and “Family: a link to our past and a bridge towards our future” and “I am the master and the captain.” Indeed he is.

Now the cat is resting on the counter (where people prepare food). It better get up soon or else it will end up on the wall with the other dead animals.

Over in the family room, we’ve got a dead elk, dead turkey, knick knacks, & a cat tower.

And in the bedroom, an elk hide and a bobcat.

Trompe l’oeil is a painting technique to create a 3D image on a flat surface. Here we see a Peoria, Arizona home that took it to another level. At least the painter had talent, a refreshing change for this blog.
The throne room.

Stone walled.

Niche with potted plant above the hallway.

Another view.

Foil in the windows. Ugly floor tile.

From a Peoria, Arizona home, where they used butcher paper as window coverings.

Looking the other direction, they used paper in the front window.
