What was once a decent foreclosure home is now damaged by graffiti.

Graffiti scares away real buyers.

Then you’re left with cash investors paying below market price.

This then lowers the price for the neighborhood.

Thanks for nothing.

Hope it was worth it.

These four home offices are suffering from too many pieces of flair. 37 to be exact.

I’m going to need those TPS reports this afternoon!

Not as bad as the others. The security bars are scary.

Good grief. Have you seen my Swingline stapler?

Editor: I have a vintage Swingline stapler in my office!

Lots of people are creating outdoor living spaces in their back yards. Add a day bed or couch to your porch or patio. Martha Stewart would approve.

This is a new one: security bars inside the house! Keeps kids and burglars from crawling over the walls.

As a bonus, here’s the kitchen. This is what they’re protecting??

What a mess. Vertical blind slats thrown on the floor. Stickers and decals on the walls and on the door. Red carpet. Security bars. Outdated brass ceiling fan. Exercise equipment.

Today’s real estate photography tip: choose your angles carefully. Shooting from the wrong direction will reduce the positive impact. Here’s an example:
At this angle, buyers’ eyes are forced to see a white lamp, a horse blanket, security bars, a very blue wall, and a large TV. These are not the best selling features of the room.

At this angle, the view is much improved. Here, buyers can easily see the fireplace, the nice wood laminate flooring, and the large space of the room. These are selling features that should be promoted, not personal items.
