Uh, there’s a door on the 2nd floor that leads to a corrugated metal porch roof. Safe? Hopefully, these Hickory, North Carolina sellers aren’t advertising it as a balcony.

Trenton, New Jersey home. Doubtful it can be saved. You’ll see why.
But first, the mess inside. Holy tornado!

The kitchen! What??!!

What happened to the ceiling?!!?!

The living room!!!

The attic!!

Here’s the outside of the house. The house has already started tearing itself down for us. Wow! When they say there’s been a shift in the market, they’re not kidding!

Unsafe! The roof collapsed!

First impressions. Check out the roof in the upper right corner. [Augusta, Maine]

They’re calling it a home. Any takers? [Martin, Tennessee]

We haven’t decided if this de-sided Sedalia, Missouri home is worth a visit.

The owner of this de-sided Houston, Texas home is undecided about the upcoming election.

Looks like the house got hit in a landslide. We vote for new siding. Or we’ll elect for another house.

Let’s check out three back patios and yards. All could use some (a lot of) help.
Reading, Pennsylvania. New fence and siding needed. How do you fit a table and chairs on that patio?

Another Reading, Pennsylvania home. Looks like the balcony and back patio are about to fall down. Enter at your own risk.

Houston, Texas. That back porch support beam doesn’t look very, uh, supportive. Did rats or opossums chew on the siding?

There was a real estate TV show a few years back that said the number one way to improve your home’s value was new siding. Let’s look at some examples.
Siding in the Phoenix metro area is rare. Homes here usually have stucco or painted block. Here we see a Phoenix home with old wood plank siding. Not very practical with super low humidity and hot sun.

Another view.

Scottsdale, Arizona home with weather-damaged T111 siding. The sun, the rain, etc.

Watertown, New York home for sale without siding. Five years and still hasn’t sold.

Peeling paint, rickety railing, bad siding, lopsided porch floor. Tread very lightly when visiting.

This home can be yours if the price is right. It features a delightful sun room.

Rustic wood siding. Mattress included.

Beware of the … lead-based paint? Foundation? Family of racoons under the house?

More rustic charm. A hand built fireplace thanks to Quikrete and leftover bricks and assorted rocks.

The kitchen with antique stove. Let’s hope the floor doesn’t cave in.

Exhaust pipe or dryer vent?

Workshop. From the set of a horror movie?

Here’s a Meridian, Mississippi home in need of major renovation. But it has a really cool vibe to it. Just needs someone with vision to make it a super home.

Back deck. Offered for only $58,500.

Built in 1975. That’s a trippy chandelier. Looks like a giant spider. The overall feel of the vaulted living room is kinda groovy.

Ugly kitchen.

One of four bedrooms.

Dirty carpet and an ugly ceiling in another bedroom.

Master bedroom.

One of the bathrooms. Olive green sink, toilet, and tub. Why is there a shower head at the end of the bathtub?

The other bathroom.

According to the hoity toity, Houston is full of life and culture. And fine dining! They have the best baked beans in the country.

Gourmet kitchen too.

Can’t wait to move in here!

I’ve decided that this de-sided home is what Houston’s all about. I’ve been a fool for living in Phoenix so long. Houston, here I come!
