$2.9 million fixer-upper 1965 home in Paradise Valley, Arizona with original décor.
Velvet wallpaper in pristine condition.

Flowery wallpaper and tasseled drapes in the master bathroom.

Chandelier in one of the bedrooms.

The roof was messed up from end to end. Here we see evidence of a roof leak with mold & mildew spores.

In the master bedroom, they built a padded & carpeted base around the bed and a lovely headboard with drapery.

You’d always have to clean up the ashes after every fire or else the room would smell. You’d always be paranoid about sparks and embers escaping. And what about smoke going everywhere if there’s the slightest breeze? Dumb.

This $1.2 million Paradise Valley home just screams out “tear down.” The outdated saltillo tile, the outdated cabinets, the family photos, the ugly stained glass pantry doors, the flower backsplash tile, the cheap $10 bar stools, the clutter on the counters and walls, the wild paintings. Home staging would help at a minimum.

The family room is being used as a dining room and a place to display lots of clutter on the tables and walls. There’s a fireplace hiding back there somewhere. Sometimes homes look better when they’re vacant.
