This cowboy/gangster bar has got to go. Love the “Scarface” framed poster behind the bar. And those awesome cocktail chairs. What’s up with the ceramic pug dog wearing a bandana? Steer horns over the fireplace. Ugly coffee table. Ugly carpet too.

Most people see patios as a place to hang out and relax or to entertain. Buyers will look at this ugly patio and say, “Huh?” The washer & dryer are outdoors which is a turn-off to buyers. The bars on the window says ‘bad neighborhood’ to a buyer. The garden hose on the swing. All the other clutter too. Next house, please.

When selling a house, each room should have a single purpose. This dining room is trying to be a liquor store and a motorcycle dealership. The outdated saltillo tile, the wall paint color, the metal chairs, & glass table create a cold, impersonal feeling instead of a warm, inviting dining room. Buyers will not remember this room as a dining room.

Yuk. The sponge painted walls match the ugly furniture. Plastic flowers are a no-no. Only Donald Trump would approve of the brass table (ever notice how everything Donald Trump does is brass and pink marble?). To appeal to a larger number of buyers, it is best to neutralize the colors and design of a room. Slip covers would be an easy solution for the sofas.

What is this UFO doing in this person’s patio? This is the ugliest hot tub cover I’ve ever seen, complete with graffiti. Or is it the lid to the septic tank? Either way, it’s sure to scare off buyers.

What is going on here??!! This master bedroom’s a mess. Pink mosquito netting! And imagine the odor from the nearby shoe rack while you’re trying to sleep. Why are there horse bridles hanging on the wall next to the bed?

Who wants to live next to a giant power pole? Buyers will stay away from this house.

Why not crop the photo to lessen the impact of the power pole? Like this…

It’s one thing to be an avid sports fan, but when you’re selling your house, it’s time to neutralize. I mean, really, a painted “N” on the ceiling? And booze bottles on the computer hutch?! Were the Nebraska Cornhuskers all that great this year?
This is a huge turn-off to buyers. It’s all they will remember about this house.

Excuse me while I throw up. The overwhelming yellow walls and the ugly green carpet are enough to upset any buyer. The baby’s in the swing, but couldn’t the seller have moved the swing for the photo?

In the ideal world, Kitchen = Food = Taste. Unfortunately, there is no taste in this ugly kitchen. What were they thinking? That awful carpet, leftover from a Las Vegas casino, with enough carpet to cover the cabinet bottoms. How about that sunflower wallpaper border? And the hand-painted kitchen island? The dirty fish tank? The cluttered counters? The refrigerator magnets? The outdated chairs and lighting? This kitchen needs a serious makeover.
