Too Much Native American Décor

June 30th, 2008 · No Comments

This bedroom is too taste-specific for most buyers.  There’s so much going on with the Native American décor that it makes your eyes wiggle.  The pink walls don’t help either.

Check out the “art work” above the bed; it looks like a Taos Airstream travel home and Devil’s Tower from Wyoming (see below).

The religious painting on the wall could be a turn-off for some buyers.  Plus the flagstone flooring.

Probably the original owner of this Mesa, Arizona home.  Note the old carpet, old furniture, curio cabinet, heavy drapes, and butter churn.

Buyer Friendly Home

June 30th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Or is it?  Let’s see…  There’s a “beware of dog” sign on the closed front gate.  And there are boxes and junk blocking your way to the front door.  Other unappealing features:  several power line spindles out front, other junk & scrap wood out front, an ugly African sumac tree, and a rusty evaporative cooler on the right side of the house.

Sad & Scary Sarasota Home

June 29th, 2008 · No Comments

Disgusting home in Sarasota, Florida.  My first thought it that this is the kitchen, but now I’m not so sure.  The full bucket of dirty water is sure to attract mosquitoes.  Yuk.

Mirrored Closet Doors In Orlando, Florida

June 29th, 2008 · No Comments

In a way, I’m hoping this house for sale in Orlando, Florida is being sold “for sale by owner” because of the bare foot photographer.  Would be very embarrassing for my peers if the photographer was the listing agent.  Why would he take a photo of outdated brass-trimmed mirrored closet doors?  Check out the crazy red and blue wall paint too!
