A slight improvement but still bad.

170426b

Getting better but still not acceptable.

170426c

Sigh. You would assume a photography with a tripod would know better.

Miserable looking dog in a kitchen.

170425a

He does not look happy.

170425b

Maybe he’s mad that his owners are selling the house?

170425c

He’s literally being pug-nacious.

Burnt Grass

April 21st, 2017 · No Comments

A winter lawn (lush green rye grass) makes a Phoenix-area home look pretty. Dog urine, however, will kill rye grass.

Built-In Media Niches

April 18th, 2017 · 1 Comment

It was popular in the 1990s and early 2000s to create massive built-in entertainment centers or media niches. Back in the day when TVs were narrower and also when big TVs were very deep. But nowadays, most of these media niches are functionally obsolete. Today’s TVs are wider and shallow.

170418a

This TV actually fits in the niche. But the surrounding niches only encourage home owners to become collectors. Future hoarders?

170418b

Sometimes they are used only to display items.

170418c

They can also be demoted to secondary status. The knotted curtain gets full priority in this room.

170418d

Or completely ignored. They’re also great dust collectors.
