Major mold & mildew infestation at a Federal Way, Washington home.

The home’s description reads: “Not for the faint of heart or respiratory system! We have MOLD and lot’s of it. The majority of the basement is covered in black mold and in biblical proportions. Still working on getting the bank to get a mold report, but suspect the worse. This is for the serious investor, and considered uninhabitable at this time. Bring a gas mask. Excellent area of finer homes.”
Can’t say they didn’t warn us or disclose the problem.

How long does it take for a mold problem to get SO much out of hand?! Where have the owners been all this time?

“biblical proportions”
That is one heck of a house description you don’t see every day!

As a phoenix carpet cleaning professional I’ve cleaned a lot of mold so I can tell you don’t use bleach to get out mold.

What happens to a house to make it mold like this? I can see if it was in one room that had a plumbing leak or something, but how does the WHOLE HOUSE get like this??

It is amazing how fast this can get this way. I saw a sewage leak into a basement one time that in three weeks was all the way up the walls and it was way worse than this.
