Three different homes with three different approaches to real estate photos. These impress buyers how?
1) Corroded door handle, chipped door trim, and a cheap lockbox.

2) Close-up photo of a water spigot. And yes, it’s spelled spigot, not spicket. The photo’s caption read, “Plumbing.” Really?

3) By taking the photo at night, buyers won’t notice the abundance of leaves and the lack of grass.

I’d like to see the inside of house #2. Apparently there was a question if it had any plumbing or not.

Photo #2 is actually very helpful. When we were shopping for our phoenix home, my wife and I agreed that plumbing was on the top of our “wish list.” If more of the homes we were evaluating online had helpful confirmation photos like this, we wouldn’t have had to ask our Realtor every time. We did wind up buying a home with plumbing and have not regretted it for a moment.
