Let’s pick on the old blue carpet and give the shuttle mural a pass. It’s kinda cool, actually.

Ironically, that’s an image of the Explorer which is not a real shuttle, but a full-scale model located at Kennedy Space Center. It has never flown.

The representation of Electrical Outlet Island (a very real island off the Baja Peninsula) however, is amazingly accurate and realistic. Kudos to the muralist.

So Close!
The carpet sort of looks like the lunar surface..kinda.
But the wood doors just ruin the space flight look.
