This looks like a very nice home. Newer kitchen and cabinets, nice paint, nice flooring. You’ll see in the other photos that it has an open floor plan. Should be a winner. And then they’ve got all this stuff lying around. A couple of boxes and 15 minutes and this house would look great.

There’s a box of limes on the kitchen table in this photo.

Oh, look. They moved the box. It’s a start, at least. I would show this house to clients, but buyers nowadays want to preview homes online first and they would probably veto this house. I usually force clients to see a home they rejected if I see the potential, like this one. Truth is, most buyers would not want to see this house based on these photos.

So, how many of these anti-staged houses do you think are occupied by renters? Do many owners present homes this way?

What a waste–beautiful house all cluttered up. Hope it doesn’t smell like a diaper pail–I mean, that box of Huggies isn’t there as interior decoration, y’know…

Note: They store paper towels on the upper kitchen cabinets, other junk as well…Strange~
