This poor house suffers from mildew & mold issues. The bathroom looks dingy and dirty.

Couldn’t they get some bleach water and a scrub brush and clean the tile grout before selling the house? Gross.

Oh, boy. That does not look good. If we’re seeing mold & mildew on the outside of the drywall, what does the other side look like? The rule of thumb is if the total mold/mildew area is less than 10 square feet (about 3′ x 3′), mold remediation is not needed. This room alone will require professional mold removal.

There’s more mold & mildew in another room. This house has serious water/moisture problems.

If the roof of the house is good then I think most mold mildew problems in Arizona are caused by swamp coolers. In addition to mold remediation the ac system must be upgraded.

They put out the classy air freshener on the sink. Isn’t that enough?

Again I ask - why is there so much water/mold damage in a dry climate like AZ?

Pics #1 and #2 are the perfect examples of why one should NEVER ever ever ever use white grout.

It’s important to carry out all the steps involved in black mold removal to successfully rid your house of the problem. If you feel you are not up to the task then calling in a contractor is necessary, remember you have to deal with the problem. It is important that you clean your home thoroughly.

Mold is scientifically described as being a microscopic fungus. This fungus not only looks unattractive, but it can be dangerous. While some types of mold are deemed to be relatively harmless, there are other types of mold that are considered toxic.

Rather than expensive rip off solutions, most of the mold can be handled with hydogen peroxide and sodium borate.

Well I wouldn’t be surpised to find the drywall behind the shower tiles to be covered in mold too, so just cleaning the tiles and grout wont be enough.
