Three Different Kitchens

Outdated kitchen with fruit wallpaper, $15 shallow sink, $10 faucet, and ugly hardware.  No dishwasher.

More old wallpaper and an ugly linoleum floor in this kitchen.  The oven is missing a range hood overhead.  No counter next to the oven means it’s hard to prepare & cook food there.

Rather than spring for an $800 refrigerator, this remodeler opted for a $20 fake tree from Odd Lots.  Most buyers today do not have a lot of extra money to buy appliances; they would rather have all the appliances included and pay more for the house.  By raising the purchase price $1,000, the investor can recoup his/her money, and the buyer only pays an extra $6/month in his/her mortgage payment.

No refrigerator??? Perhaps they gone Green~…;)

I might be an odd ball here, but I rather there be no appliances! I love to cook, so I want what works, plus I hate cleaning other folks bake on grease stuff…..

These kitchens are all usable, with a little redecorating and DIY. BTW I like the avocado green flooring - call me a crazy retro fan!

Kitchen 2 could be vastly improved by scooting the stove to the middle of that wall. Then get some unfinished lower cabinets for each side of the stove. Finish them like the existing cabinets and try to find some similar hardware and counter top pieces. Some open shelves above them and you would have almost doubled the usefullness of that kitchen whithout breaking the bank or your back.
