Strange room.

I can appreciate the authentic early 1970s McCoy “Have a Happy Day” smiley face cookie jar.  I have several at my house.

Leif, are these realtors really this dumb? isn’t there some kind of training you guys go through to get a license that includes how to take a photo?
I just can’t believe in this market they think they can get away with these horrible photos.

Karla, there is no way to prove who took these photos (the agent, the agent’s assistant, the seller, the seller’s cousin, a professional photographer, a neighbor, etc.). All we can say is that the seller ultimately approves how his/her property is marketed to the public. We are trying to help sellers see how important good real estate photos really are when selling.

So, sometimes the agent allows the seller to take the photos? That’s lazy. And if the agent sees a bad photo, don’t they go back to the owner and say this is not acceptable? Because, it’s the agent who loses out, they want to sell the house and get a commission. If I’m selling a horse for someone I make sure it’s groomed and clipped and ready to show. I am really amazed every day by the house photos you show us here. Geeze, that dirty wash bucket takes the cake.

Karla, photo shown here truly amaze me too. If you were selling your car, you’d certainly wash it at least and maybe vacuum it and clear out the junk first. And if you had money, you’d have it detailed and/or fixed. So why not do the same with a house? It boggles the mind. I shake my head and roll my eyes a lot.
