From Unfinished To Finished - Before & After Photos

The previous home owners started renovation of their home but ran out of money.  The house went into foreclosure.  An investor saw its potential and bought it in May 2009 for $80,000.

Here’s the family room before.

Here’s the family room after.  The new owner sold this remodeled home in October 2009 for $148,500.

Hall bathroom after.  No wonder a buyer snatched up this house.  It’s brand new.

The best part of all this:  it created jobs for the remodeling project, it breathed new life into the home, it now raised the average sold price for the neighborhood, and it has real owners living in the house (it’s not another rental where the landlord didn’t care).  Win-win for everyone.

Looks great! The real nice thing is, someone did all the gutting ! We’ve gutting two homes, it’s a big messy job, plus the cost of getting rid of it once you get it out! So to find one in this condition was luck!

How funny to see this home. I looked at this home about a week before it closed to the new buyers. I work for the bank and paid to have all the fixtures etc replaced. The home was sold for super cheap and wow they did a nice job replacing everything. The kitchen however..would of been much nicer if it wasn’t a structural wall and could have been torn out and made much larger. Funny to see something I inspected on your website though.
