Cute 1957 home in Phoenix, Arizona that was loved for decades by the same owner. Interesting décor choices, though. Deer head, knick knacks, stuffed animals, real wood plank paneling in the family room.

Pan to the right and we see more of the family room. Wood plank paneling on every wall.

“Valentine is done” is part of the lyrics of Blue Oyster Cult’s 1976 hit song “Don’t Fear the Reaper.” This Valentine’s bear looks like he’s enjoying himself. He’ll take a nice bike ride later today.

Not sure what’s more disturbing in the master bedroom: the four cat pictures or the mirror over the bed flanked by religious items.

Foil wallpaper!! In the master bathroom. On the ceiling too!!

Lots of personal items in the living room.

Old hanging light, drapes, and stereo console in the living room.

Very interesting paneling.
I’m amazed that the wallpaper on the bathroom ceiling hasn’t peeled off. I wouldn’t want to see my naked self reflected from all angles though!

Midwest Transplant? I honestly would have never thought this was a “phoenix” home.

That stereo looks like it was new around the time Don’t Fear the Reaper came out! Looks to be in pretty decent condition though. The lantern/lamp/candleholder (or whatever it is) on the wall in the first photo is actually kinda cool. The rest of it….yikes.

What a mess! The paneling is hideous–rip it off as fast as you can! And take those tacky shelves down! I love cats but not pictures of them in my bedroom! The cat art above the bed is deplorable! Get a trash can and dump the art or if you must have them, group them together and put them in your laundry room, guest bedroom or guest bathroom.
