Super Mad Foreclosured Owner

April 13th, 2008 · 9 Comments

There have been posts before about angry homeowners.  Their house gets foreclosed, and then they destroy the house because it’s the bank’s fault, not theirs.

This is a great (or not-so-great) story of a very angry homeowner.  The location is unknown, but I’m guessing somewhere in Texas.  The owner and his girlfriend bought this house and couldn’t keep up with the payments.  Within nine months, it went into foreclosure.

The owner got mad and was determined to destroy the house.  If he had to leave, no one else was going to enjoy his house.  He used his truck to pull the house off the foundation.  Didn’t work, but he caused some damage.

He then focused his anger on the back patio, successfully busting up the concrete.

The owner also poured concrete into the septic tank.  And then, get this, got three 250-pound pigs (yes, pigs) and left them in the house with some bags of pig food.  Three weeks later, animal control was contacted when the neighbors noticed the pigs and the smell.

Let’s see what other mature things the owner did to this innocent house.  He tried to pull down the ceiling fan in this bedroom.

He destroyed the kitchen.  Sledgehammered the microwave oven.  Smashed the oven door.  Ripped out cabinets.  Had time to drink some Kahlua.

He also torn out the electric wiring.

Kicked in more walls.

And trashed another bedroom.  I guess he sure showed the bank who’s boss.

I know what you mean about angry homeowners. I’ve kept it filed under Foreclosure. Sometimes it’s hard to prove who did the damage.

In the state of Arizona, a foreclosed person is forgiven for the mortgage debt when foreclosed; the bank can’t come after the person later for the loan balance. However, the bank can come after the person for “waste.” “Waste” is when a person damages the property and causes it to lower in value and/or require repairs. It is a criminal act. And the banks can sue the foreclosed person for damages and lost value.

When a homeowner signs mortgage loan papers, they promise to maintain the property. There is no excuse for destroying property.

    Talk about anger on steroids!

What these twits don’t realize is that the damage they do to the home will reduce the amount the bank can sell the home for, therefore, not getting enough money to pay off the outstanding mortgage. Gee Wiz!

    What an idiot.

I hope the girlfriend gets out of this relationship quickly. The guy obviously has an anger problem. Although she may have participated in causing the damage.

    I hope this guy pays.

It’s totally psycho to sue a homeless person! The banks are loaded. Let them fix it! Only a psycho would care about evil banks instead of poor homeless people. I’m disgusted by the inhumanity here.

Greeney, I hope you’re being sarcastic. If not, get some help.
