A Cozy For Your Tushy Paper

July 31st, 2011 · 14 Comments

How cute.  A toilet paper cozy.  Keeps it warm for you.  Trouble is, you’ll have to remove the paper from the holder each time.  Which means the holder might, just might have germs on it from other people??  Yech.

Try taking the cardboard tube out and pulling the sheets out from the inside.

Too much work, and highly unsanitary.

My concern is the placement of the toilet. It looks a little close to the wall. People’s germ covered HANDS touching that cozy would be the least of my concerns.

Well, this would certainly get First Prize for contest category of “Dumbest Thing Ever Made By Someone With Too Much Time On Their Hands”!

Old toilet paper holder and new JUMBO sized roll of toilet paper….the roll won’t fit in the holder. This is the result.

This is just silly and gross. At last turn the roll sideways and feed it over the side of the pouch. Agree with Mark. Had that problem in my 60 year old house. My talented husband fixed the problem with new paper holders.

I know! They have a cat that likes to play with the toilet paper, so after coming home to yards and yards of ripped up toilet paper they came up with this new dispenser!

I’ve had the jumbo rolls come with adapters that allow them to fit in the old holder, if they don’t come with the paper anymore, they are probably available separately….
Somebody really has too much time on her hands to make something like that, she needs some help finding something to do….of all the things to make cozies for, if she has gone that far, the house must have cozies all over everything, toaster cozy, blender cozy, vacuum cozy, dog cozy, and if the husband doesn’t get off the couch once in awhile, she may even have made one for him!

The owls on the fabric are saying “Whoo whoo’s big idea was this?”

I am late to the game on commenting on this one - but I was thinking that maybe this is to prevent a pet or toddler from attacking the TP?

I agree with everyone who said it was done to protect the tp from pets and kids. But the way that the homeowner went about it is so unsanitary. It looks like they found an old fabric scrap from the 70s when they were clearing their attic, and decided this would be the answer to their shredded tp problem.
