Oh great. Another exciting evening with the girls. Hope Ken brings his own dreamcatcher this time. Dude’s so cheap.

Better her than me. In the right light, I think all those dolls staring back at you can be downright creepy!

I actually think the Indian dolls are attractive! However they should have been kept “mint in box” instead of messy dustcatchers.

And another built-in entertainment center to have to contend with. Gorgeous floors.

The house looks clean and the dolls are going with the seller anyway. I smile because the owner apparently enjoys having them sitting out to be admired. Sure beats some of the other collections people have.

The problem is, buyers will not buy a house on the basis of what the previous owner liked to collect. So the dolls should have been put away.

I’ve seen the built-in entertainment centers on this site before and thought they were big ugly monstrosities. This is a newish looking, big ugly monstrosity. It’s like someone built a doll-sized tower block in their house. And for good measure, it has ruined the archway it’s built in.

Why on earth would anyone get one of those erected (at I’m sure, a big expense) rather than buy a nice piece of relocatable, easily-replacable furniture with a much smaller footprint?

On another note, how about a post on why people insist on shoving their furniture up against walls. Check out the table. Who dines next to the window… Sarah Jessica Parker?

Aaron, that built-in entertainment center was a standard feature of homes built in the mid-to late-1990s here in the Phoenix area. Buyers had those big box TV sets (the ones 2 feet thick), so they loved the built-ins from the builders. Now they’re almost functionally obsolete.

I’d rather have the open space and be allowed to select where to place my TV than have a stupid built in entertainment center that I will tear out anyway. I agree, the arch is ruined. I vote for open space.

Plus, then there are people like me who actually don’t even watch TV. I only watch Hoarders and Boardwalk Empire. I have no shrine to TV in my house. I actually GO OUTSIDE each day.

@Karla - Thank You. Now I know I am not the only one out here who doesn’t watch TV.

@Karla&Picky - add me to the group. I find real life far more entertaining than anything on the t.v.!

Karla, Picky, and Joe — Hoarder’s is my only TV show, and that I watch here on the computer! :)

At least when the owner is upset, she has her “girls” to cheer her up by staring at her with creepy, way-too-real evil grins. Something tells me the owner can return the favor when the dolls are upset.
