I know a certain professional landscaper in Portland whose own garden looks like a fairyland, but whose clients end up with landscaping like this. As a result, several of our neighbours have gardens that look like freshly shelled battlefields. Concrete chunks and spewings of roughly shredded bark are not only outrageously unattractive, but also end up littering the sidewalks. And do not get me started on ‘beauty’ bark.
