Tippecanoe & Tyler Too

Tyler, Texas home in need of home staging.  Check out the bathroom with its many layers of drapes and shower curtains.  In the window:  vertical blinds plus lace curtain plus pink something.  At the tub:  plastic shower curtain plus blue drapes plus floral valance.  Got grout issues?  Use duct tape!

Lots going on in the kitchen.  Except organization and home staging.

We’re not a fan (or two) of this master bedroom.  She’s suffocating the panda bear.

The cigarettes and ashtray on the bed are a nice touch.

She thoughtfully parked on the front lawn so buyers can park on the driveway.

Oh, yeah, this house is sale ready!

This looks like the home of someone who is no longer physically able to handle it. Hopefully the boxes in the living room mean they are getting ready to pack some of the stuff up. Too bad the pictures couldn’t wait until then.

In the fifth picture it looks like the desk is on fire. This is could be the reality show
    ” Grandma’s Stuff Gone Wild”.

I was wondering where is the refrigerator?

  • 6 Leif // Feb 5, 2012 at 8:13 pm

The frig is in the laundry room, covered in magnets. The photo wasn’t included here.

Anyone want to bet a dollar to a doughnut that house and all of the clutter in it smells like the ashtray on the bed? >:-S. Who would buy a smoker’s house except another smoker? They’re really hurting their chances to sell. That stench seeps into the house itself and never leaves. Disgusting. Also, stuffed animals never belong in an adult’s bedroom (or really in an adult’s life, actually). Donate the clean, reasonable ones to charity, and get them out of your bedroom. Kinda kills any mood for….ummm…whatever goes on in there…to be watched a child’s toy. Eeew. That goes for pictures of your parents/children/relatives, etc… on the wall opposite the bed, too. Creeps me out.

The fire is pretty cool. Maybe it will take care of the house for us. Can we see the pictures after it burns down?

  • 9 Greeney // Jul 21, 2012 at 11:32 am

That picture with the fire is puzzling. Why weren’t they putting it out instead of taking a picture? Also, the top drawer is left open, so the spaghetti of wires can travel across it for the myriad of electrical devices, fan, TV, radio, laptop, lamp, even an old desktop monitor on the highboys dresser. The fire Marshall should have shut that place down and had them evacuated long before that. A real death trap.

Is it fire or a lamp? Scary looking, regardless.

I think Picky is right. Looks like they are packing Aunt Florence up.
