They are saving money for a real pot rack. This’ll have to do for now, they say.

The pot rack dominates the very nice looking kitchen. Surely they have plenty of storage for pots and pans.

Pot racks have storage space on top too. If they lowered the rack, they could store even more up there.

A Pantry! A Pantry! I would trade a pot rack for a pantry! And then we would all be happy.
At least take them down for the pictures.

I’m not a fan of pot racks either, but my real question is this: Why doesn’t the link to LeifSwanson.com work? I would love to see your site, if it is still active.

I think in order for a pot rack to look good you have to have a kitchen with vaulted ceilings, and you have to balance the weight of the pots so that your pot rack isn’t all whopper jawed (photo 2). Then you have to arrange your pots so they are pleasing to look at. You shouldn’t mix stainless pots with colored Teflon frying pans because that just looks tacky. The only pots I would mix would be copper pots, because then the unity would come from the copper and style of the pots would be secondary.

I loathe stainless steel double sinks.

The last kitchen is pretty tiny and actually might need the pot rack. It doesn’t look bad in that kitchen, although you might bump your head while sitting in the bar stools !
