Creepy Basement Toilet?

Is that a weird toilet in the basement of a Saco, Maine home?

Actually, it’s not a toilet.  It’s a garden planter with a water hose caddy behind it.

    Did you notice the crooked support post? There doesn’t look like much is holding up the center of that house.

    That picture had me fooled. Anyway, when house hunting I don’t count baths in the basement or attic as part of the official number.

    I have seen a number of actual basement toilets that have lost their enclosures and are just sitting in the open.

    I’ve seen a toilet on the “third” floor of a victorian right at the stairs. On the other side of the toilet wall was a sink, and an attic.

    I’ve seen two (two!) basements with toilets; one in the middle of a wall and the other in the middle of the room.
