This photo speaks volumes. This office is literally a literary nightmare. Time to book an appointment with a home stager. Or else buyers will shelve this home.

I adore books and would love to go in and organize that room. I’m serious. I would even do it for free.

Me too. I love books. Nothing more beautiful than shelves filled with books, despite the experts telling you to remove them when you try to sell your house. A house without books is a home with no soul. Of course, with the rise of Kindle, books are becoming rare, so all the more to treasure and care for them, and display them in wonderful bookshelves, whether you are selling your house or not.

One half an hour devoted to cleaning and tidying and this room would be fine. As it is, it is very hard to tell just what this room is supposed to be. And again with my pet peeve, it is a photo of possessions. How big is this room? Is there another window in it? Come on people, take pictures of the house, not the belongings.

Donate them to a library.

They blocked the only window. And why is it so small?

This might actually look okay if the books were more neatly organized and if they got rid of the big pile of boxes and crap in the corner.
