Bored of your kitchen cabinets? Let’s take a look at different options.
Add some shelf paper!

Create a peaceful kitchen.

Invisible cabinet doors! It’s a new trend.

See? It is a new trend.

Paint colorful stripes as seen in a Garden City, Kansas home. Looks cool, but I don’t like the square pieces under the knobs.

Oh that last one is like a 70’s nightmare.

The last pic with the striped cabinets has one of the strangest layouts I’ve ever seen. It looks very awkward to use the stove. File it under “what were they thinking?”

I agree with Wendy. How would you ever USE that stove? Nowhere to set a hot pan, utensils, ingredients, etc…. It’s like they built the kitchen without an actual COOKING place (hard to imagine in THE cooking place in the house…scratches head…), and then said..”Oh, wait, we forgot something…here, let’s stick it over in this unused corner of the room. If people REALLY want to use it, they’ll be willing to walk around the counter.” Yeah. Great idea.

Actually there is a countertop to the right of the stove, and it’s close to the sink- a little awkward but quite functional..

Wendy, the kitchen “triangle” is there, if you look closely. The fridge is across from the stove and the sink makes a triangle work area. You would get the food from the fridge, place it on the counter and prep right there next to the stove.

Maybe a wall was taken out to make it bigger and the stove went as far as the gas connection did.

I remember kitchens in Victorian houses with the stoves all by themselves in a corner, across the room from the sink, all counter space, and the fridge.
