Wood and mirrors make for an interesting wall pattern.

Wood you keep this?

More wood in the dining room.

Say what you want, but i love that dining room!
That wall in the living room would look better with the right furniture though.

It looks clean and well cared for but I think it’s time for a remodel. Two Grandfathers clocks are the finishing touch.

I agree with Jozef. Beats block walls all over the place. I like both of them, but both need different furniture.

at least that one looks like it was well done. I don’t think I’d keep it but it wouldn’t scare me from buying the house.

I would rip that down first thing.

I agree with the furniture comments. I kind of like these walls and I think different furniture better make them look even better.

I like the furniture and the wall.

Don’t even bother trying to make it work, it’s too overpowering for the space.

I would tear the wood off the walls, with the idea of using it elsewhere. It is in great condition and think it’d be great as a dining room table or prep surface, possibly.

Wow! That would bother me until the day we ripped it out!!

I absolutely LOVE it. That’s real wood paneling and looks great.

It’s horrible and over-powers the space.

Based on the military shadow box on the wall, I’m guessing the grandfather clocks stem from tour(s) in Germany — and possibly why they installed the wooden walls - or left in place if purchased the home as-is. Not my favorite decor though I do like the second grandfather clock.
