I’ve never heard of martinizing. Does that have anything to do with a martini? Do people go to a dry cleaner, drink martinis and socialize while they wait?

Maria that’s funny!

Like your comment, Maria, although if you seriously want to enjoy a fine adult beverage while doing a bit of laundry, this can be arranged. Back in my hometown of New Orleans there are a few bar and grill establishments with a fair size coin laundry in the next room. Party on during the spin cycle!
Martinizing Dry Cleaning is a dry cleaning franchise and is supposed to be the largest dry cleaning franchise in the United States. Although they are not in my “neck of the woods”, I assume by the joke they can be found in AZ.

Well Julia and Nancy, if you ever come to Los Angeles, give me a yelp! I know some super great places to go martinizing, and you don’t have to bring your laundry either!

@Nancy: When I lived in NOLA in the 70’s we used to go to two places like that. IIRC one was SUDS&BUDS on Freret and another was located somewhere near Tchopitoulas by the zoo. Both catered to college kids.
A real hoot to watch (oh, and possibly be) a bunch of drunk folks doing laundry!
