Some of My Old Favorites

September 4th, 2012 · 3 Comments

Technical support is on the case.  I’m currently unable to upload new photos.
There was a comment from a reader saying I was not posting anything new because I was on vacation in San Diego.  Actually, I was on vacation in Iceland, yes, Iceland, from August 24-September 1.  Before my trip, I created new posts and saved them, then published one per day during my trip.  It’s when I got back that the problems arose.
I will have a special post on Iceland homes, by the way.

In the meantime, here are some of my favorite photos from over 4 years ago.

Disco Duck!

Bargain Basement.  I took this photo at a home in Mesa, Arizona.  Some of the steps were missing on the stairs down to the basement.

Bubble bath anyone?

Gun Show.  Setting an example for the kids at Christmastime.  Or maybe his motto is “Yule be sorry”??

Fixer-upper bath.  I took this photo of a very run-down home.  An investor with incredible vision bought the house and renovated it.  The Before & After photos are amazing.  See the post here.

Guns AND a cheesy picture of Jesus? That’s either irony or unintentional self-parody.

Going all the way to Iceland to escape the heat does seem at little extreme.

And the Food City bag on the table lets us know that it will be a holiday of plenty. Why, I bet there’s a canned ham in there and, just maybe, some pickled eggs and Fig Newtons!
