The new season of Hoarders TV show starts this Monday, September 10 on A&E TV. What wonders will we see this season? Homes like these?

Wow! Great Pictures! I own a Cleaning Company and I never had to clean a mess like that. I would probably use gasoline and a match.

I cringe every time I see junk piled on top of a stove. Are they trying to kill themselves?

The second house is a real shame- it looks like it could have been a real vintage treasure, judging from the wallpaper and cabinets.

The first photo is really bad. What is on those blue platters, body parts? Why do some people drop an egg shell, step on it, and leave it there?

I am sorry, but I don’t see any of the pictures as someone being a “hoarder”. Personally, my opinion is that the pictures reveals a person that is filthy and do not care how they live. Aside from being disgusting, it is unsanitary. That is really sad.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m losing interest in the hoarder shows. All the crap just runs together (pun intended) and the mental state of the people is improved by the end of the show, on meds, I’m sure.

Murphy, interesting that you say that. I’ve been fast-forwarding the hoarding shows when family members come to visit the houses; we’ve already seen the insides and we know the family’s gonna say, “Oh my.”

Hoarding shows make me want to get rid of stuff, so I watch a show every three of four months just to put me in the mood to donate stuff to charity.

This isn’t hoarding it’s squalor syndrome.
