Remodel Almost Complete

The description for this house states, “Remodel almost complete.”  Oh, okay.

Then it states, “Owner has started the remodel.”  But it’s almost completed, right?

It also states, “Master bedroom remodel started but not completed.”  That makes sense.

And “owner will leave materials for buyer.”  Thank you.  We were worried.  It also states, “Anticipated cost to complete remodel is $30,000.”  Oops!  Hmmm.  And also, “Exterior stucco will need replaced.”  Oh.  Did he get a building permit for the room addition?

The owner lived in the house during the “remodeling.”  Time for new pillows!

Coats & jackets at the ready by the front door, because it’s very cold in Phoenix during the summer.

Supposedly, this is a new kitchen.

they need to pay someone to tear that “remodel” down. I wouldn’t want my house 2 feet from the swimming pool.

Took a second look, and then a third. Depending on permits and if everything is up to code, a lot of the work is done. Might be a decent home for a handyman.

Owner’s sales ploy is based entirely on the premise that a sucker is born every minute.
Having been suckered himself numerous times, this would seem to be his only plausible explanation, not to mention, option.
