Ugly green swimming pool.
The house is occupied. The sellers have stated they are not fixing the pool. True, a new motor or pump could be expensive for them. But they could rent a pump (inexpensive) and empty the pool. Or add chlorine and/or mosquito killer.
It’s a short sale. Go figure. Different mentality.

It is a short sale, so maybe they don’t have the money to fix the pump. Wonder if they have the money to fix the bodies after a dose of West Nile or encephalitis? Feel sorry for the neighbors!! And thank you. I will remember “different mentality” and try to use it in place of moron or worse.
