I like that wall of cupboards and drawers in the first picture. Looks very useful, and nice wood. The floor is worn out but at least someone tried to stop it from getting worse with the duct tape. Maybe they had no money for a new floor.

I agree, Melykin, and a floor is a fairly cheap and easy upgrade.
