Very cold, for a fireplace.

Uhhh, next place, please. This looks like it came out of a rehabbed factory apartment on the east coast.

I like it but it would look better without that tacky picture beside it.

This is exactly how my shower looks! I think maybe the tiles on the fireplace shouldn’t go all the way to the ceiling, but it looks clean and all, a lot better than the many that are on here.

It may look “modern” today but use of strips of glass tile will be outdated very soon.

The glass tile strip is visually distracting. It would be difficult to notice anything else about the room.

It doesn’t bother me. It’s a clean, uncluttered, modern room. Everything becomes outdated, but can become part of the character and nostalgia of the home. The only thing that bothers me is the set of 3 red candles in the fireplace.

It’ll always be modern; what it won’t be in the future is contemporary.
If it were my house I’d probably accent it with more color, but I like the clean lines and the asymmetry.

Why is this house featured here!?!? It’s more than decent!

IzzYuIzz, it’s in a special category “Not Ugly.” A lot of readers enjoy seeing renovations, so I created that category.
