Amateur home design with window coverings is getting out of control. Drapes on top of drapes on top of drapes. And then an extra pink curtain on top for dramatic effect.

Same Surprise, Arizona home as above. More drapes on top of drapes in the master bedroom. If this is a design trend, make it stop.

Oh, no. More drapes on top of window blinds in an Apache Junction, Arizona home.

Oh, come on! More??!!?! [Mesa, Arizona]

Thumbtacking a towel over a window in another Mesa home.

Why even bother putting up the drapes? [another Mesa home]

At a loss for words with this one. [Avondale, Arizona]

Way too much DIY and HGTV! These windows wound up looking like a mess instead of dressed up.

You made me laugh,
The “Why even bother” #6
#1 is just confusing to me
#7 I have seen my son do this, he wants light in the room but the curtain is caught on the middle support…..

Window Treatments? Looks more like their clothes dryers broke down and they’re hanging the laundry up to dry!

The upper windows in the first pic look like eyes. Creepy.

That top picture is priceless! Can’t imagine anyone making it tackier even if they had it their mission to try!

In the “why even bother picture” what I really want to know is what is the coffee table? Is it an aquarium? Are there stuffed dead animals in there? I just can’t tell for sure.

The breakfast nook and the bedroom pic before it remind me of all the homes I was in back in the 80s. Those valances over blinds or sheers were very popular here in Eastern Canada back then.
