  I love the double oven in the second pic, the 1964 one. Two full size ovens! Nowadays, you get a tiny single one for a wall oven that lasts 3 years, or two Munchkin size ones smaller than a toaster for a double one. Ovens and cooktops were much much better back then! I had a 1962 Flair wall oven and cooktop combo in the 80s that was super high tech. One cooktop element was faster than a microwave, and after you were done, the cooktop was pushed out of sight. If someone accidentally left an element on, it turned itself off. They don’t make them like that anymore. Even a top of the line Whirlpool convection wall oven doesn’t come close.

  I love vintage but a couple of these are walking a fine line between vintage and just “old” and outdated.

  The top photo is almost just like my 1961 apartment was originally, before the 2000s style remuddle.

  I have vintage appliances (stainless steel type) from the sixties and they work as good as new.

  I like these, something different you don’t see much. Modern colored appliances and steel cabinets are in the thousands so worth it to keep these or try to find a good home for them..
