I think these sellers got their landscaping reversed.  Usually the green is on the lawn.

    We had those cats claw vines on our old house and I will never have those again. They were popular in Phoenix in the 70’s and 80’s. It takes alot to get rid of them, even a little bit of root left and a bit of water it grows like crazy.

    Bought a house that evidently had vines at one time. Spent a month clearing the dead vines out of the attic. Had to do new soffit, facia and insulation because of those darned vines but got lucky. The roof was still sound even tho they had started growing on the rafters. Never again!!

    It’s true, home eating plants exist. They consume ugly houses and consider them a delicacy. BURP.

    I bet scorpions just love hiding in those vines. The dang things get everywhere, why encourage them even more?
