They say adding color to your walls will create an emotional response.

What is your response to this much yellow?

You might need to take out a small loan to pay for just the primer paint.

Do you think the painter got a headache staring at all that yellow?

Must have gotten a really big discount on their bulk purchase.  Buy 50 gallons, get 30 free.

colorblind? you can make a mistake on one wall but this is insanity! paint doesn’t usually scare me but this does.

My response… if for some reason I really wanted to buy the house I’d want a huge discount off the price for all the painting I’d have to do. And I wonder if the homeowners didn’t have any family or friends to tell them what a mistake that color was?

We walked through a model back in 2003 that was painted a horrendous color (baby poop yellow/brown); and you could hear from the people in the house was “why didn’t they stop after the first wall?”

Just looking at these photos made me tense. I could not relax at all in that house!

I’m surprised they even painted that one wall RED at all.One room painted a softer and paler pastel yellow would have been okay but this reminds me of a cheap fast food place.

OMG It’s going to cost many thousands of dollars to have that professionally primed and painted! If you tried to do it yourself, you would die first!

Somewhere a lot of bulldozers are rusting.

AAAGHH!!!! (clutches throat in a desperate choking motion)….As I said before, what’s with the “dried urine yellow” (sorry, but I’m being accurate and descriptive here, please don’t be offended). And so MUCH of it!!! Lots of people love yellow, Including me, but most people use it as an accent, like a throw pillow or a vase/flowers or something. Perfectly fine to make your home truly your own after all, YOU live there, but you have to understand that the more boring-neutral you make it to sell it, the more people can see putting their own touch on the ‘blank slate”.

I guess I’m crazy, but I absolutely love the color yellow and I love this house!!! I’m not crazy enough to paint my ENTIRE house this color, though I would if it was just me in my house…but my roommates would hate me forever if I did this.
