They created a beach cove in their family room.  How nice.

They built a ”reef” around the fireplace.

You can hear the ocean waves lapping the shore.

Too bad they couldn’t have taken down the reef before putting the house up for sale.

OK, you can close up the website now. There can never possibly be a more tasteless, jaw-dropping, aggressively amateurish execution of interior decor than this one. Its sheer awfulness is breath-taking. It’s a visual gut punch. Holy cow. Ho. Ly. Cow. I’ve never felt pity for an MLS listing before.

I think it might be supposed to be lava.

Lol, that’s just crazy! What is on the ceiling fan? Stars? I think I would put a bigger aquarium at least

The ice skater Nancy Kerrigan said it best: “Whyyyyy???”

The first time I looked at this photo I thought it was a scorch mark from a fire. Now it just looks like a giant tumor growing out of the wall. Did they paint the hardwood floor too?

Looks like an episode of “Trading Spaces” lol

Is that concrete on the floor? Can anyone tell what that black stuff around the fireplace is? Painted concrete, maybe? Whatever it is it’s hideous. Were I a buyer I’d turn around and walk out because all I’d see is a monstrocity that’s going to cost me money to get rid of.

And, as if that room isn’t hideous enough, they did a horrid sponge paint technique in the dining room. This house needs a total re-do. Blech.

Nice job contouring the Pergo floor to the “beach sand” area. Must have been a lot of work.

It’s the angle of the wood floor vs the diagonal of the ceramic tile with the high-contrast grout that does me in. Talk about a migraine waiting to happen!
