Cluttered In Three Directions

October 8th, 2015 · 5 Comments

Clutter and visual distractions in an Apache Junction, Arizona living room.  The front door is in the top right corner.  You’ll be greeted by a totem pole and dream catchers.  Bonus:  the pink chair looks like a dream catcher!

Oh, good, I get to check Afghan blanket & hats on the categories.

I don’t know why the lack of a better designed entryway is so common in homes built from the 60’s to the early 80’s. Cost savings by the builders I guess. Many families in Phoenix, ours included use the garage as a main family entry and exit point. Too bad they replaced the front door, many of the homes from that time had solid wood front doors that would be expensive if purchased today.

    Once again,
    What would it take?
A couple of boxes and 15 minutes tops to decluttering and just do a little staging.
    Drives me crazy.

Mo, I know! I want to visit these houses and help them. It’s such an easy solution.
