Thank you to our reader Ryan who sent these photos of a Lower Canard, Nova Scotia, Canada home.  Lots to see here.

The dog is still there.  Now we see a cracked ceiling and a collection of plates.

Canadians put stuff on their refrigerators too.  Look how high the clothes dryer is.  Another dog is leaving the room.

Clutter on the left.  Scary stairs in the middle.  Animal fur on the right.

Those looms are expensive! I’m amazed that more $$$ wasn’t spent on sprucing up the interior! Either these folks have failed as weavers or they just don’t care. If they’ve failed as weavers SELL those looms, get rid of the clutter and clean up your house!

In Nova Scotia, more often than not it’s a common thing not to fix up or upgrade houses prior to selling..probably alot to do with many people being low income and real estate prices being on the lower side due to no jobs keeping alot of the small towns afloat..many including myself purchase these “fixer uppers from private sales and property tax auctions for anywhere as low as five grand, believe it or not.

Leif, I know how much you hate the dreaded knotted curtain, but I equally hate the large plastic storage totes. That bedroom has 5 or 6 stacked on top of each other. GROSS!
