    I wonder what year the house was originally built. With the old style door in the kitchen and other features obviously added in later years.

    I kind of like the “before” rather than the “after” more. THe house looked cozy.

    It would have been more functional, and less claustrophobic looking, had they been able to change the tall cabinet between the stove and fridge into a countertop. Otherwise, nice reno!

    I like that they retained the original “gingerbread” trim in the kitchen. However, the kitchen is still dysfunctional and claustrophobic (good term for it) and so severely compartmentalized. That dumb wall between kitchen and seating area has to go.

    The house before was NOT cozy, but filthy, cluttered.
